Your privacy

A simple approach to privacy.

Website analytics

When this site is hosted on Vercel, we use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate traffic, such as which pages are visited, referring websites, and general device and country information. Vercel Web Analytics does not use tracking cookies. See Vercel’s analytics privacy documentation for its collection and retention practices.

Videos and external websites

Video players load only after you choose to play a video or select a chapter. Before that, the site displays a still image. Playback uses YouTube’s privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com embed domain. Clicking play connects your browser to YouTube, which may process information including your IP address and device details under Google’s privacy policy. Privacy-enhanced mode does not make playback anonymous.

Links to YouTube, sharing services, and historical sources take you to other websites with their own privacy practices. Share buttons open those services only when clicked; we do not load their tracking widgets.

Information you provide

There are no user accounts, payment forms, or active newsletter signup on this site. If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include. We use that information to respond to your enquiry and keep relevant correspondence.

Hosting and technical information

The site is intended to be hosted by Vercel. Hosting infrastructure may process request information, including IP addresses and technical logs, to deliver and protect the website. Fonts and documentary stills are served with the site.

Contact and changes

For questions about privacy or a request concerning information you have sent us, email contact@christianityorigins.com. If the site adds a newsletter provider or changes its data practices, this policy will be updated.
